Twisted Fire Starter

After talking to the Dwarf who’s home and workshop went up in flames, well, I felt for the man. He has been forced to do metal work for the Nilfgaardians and has been outcasted for it. I quickly, and nearly on accident, found a trail of large foot prints leaving the crime scene; a man’s footprints. I followed the prints and was led down to the water, which obviously did the fire starter no good. He was attacked by drowners and lost his boots in the rush, but, lucky for him, he was able to escape them, and continued on escaping back towards the village. Until I find him that is.

Along the way I stopped and Bram was tending his stall, I saw he sells Temerian Armor - I could find this useful. I took the opportunity to rid myself of unnecessary baggage.

His tracks didn’t go far before returning him home, but with his injuries it was easy to see whom it was that set that fire ablaze. Napp tried to bribe me, but as anyone knows no chance. You can’t buy me. With a bit of Axi I was able to lead the man straight back to the scene of the crime.

Unfortunately, the black ones decided that the arsonist needed no trial, just a tree. Doing the right thing doesn’t always lead to the righteous outcome. All for 20 coin.
