Welcome to Day Ten of class!
We are entering new territory today, as thus far we have been focusing on individual regions of the human skeleton, but not anymore. Today we are going to start building a harmonious figure by putting some of these pieces together.
We are looking at just one way you might approach drawing the figure with some simplified building blocks. Much of the studying we do as artists is to first thoroughly understand a structure before we inevitably severely amalgamize it to fit our needs or purpose.
These examples show just one way we can simplify these various forms, and we will be exploring additional ways to do this as we move forward with this challenge.
Assignment One
We are practicing drawing these three forms, the head, rib cage, and spine all together. Either you can duplicate the provided examples, or you can draw at least seven similar examples.
